DEJECTED
Dejected is one of my earliest projects within Unreal Engine; I started this project with a team of friends in university with the goal of learning the technical aspects of the engine and to take a deep dive into horror game methodologies and design concepts.
The entire project taught me many methods and concepts used by existing horror games to create an atmosphere that can influence the players emotions. This includes everything from the importance of sound placement to the use of space and visual cues.
